By car

Parking Centrum-Station

If you travel by car, head for the railway station and use the public car park ‘Parking Centrum-Station‘ next to it. There you can park for 3,50 euro a day. You can leave your car there for several days and pay at the end with a credit card.
A 7-minute walk takes you to our meeting point Oud Sint-Jan.

You can park at the congress centre also, but you pay 6,00 euro for max 10 hours.

By train

International high-speed trains

The Brussels South station is the Belgian hub for international train traffic, receiving multiple high-speed trains a day from Paris (Thalys and TGV), Lille (Eurostar  and TGV), London (Eurostar), Amsterdam (Thalys) and Cologne (Thalys and ICE).

Belgian railways

From Brussels South, there are two trains every hour to Bruges with final stops in either Ostend or Knokke/Blankenberge. Please consult the website of the Belgian Railways for information about schedules and fares. It takes 55 minutes to go from Brussels South to Bruges.

By plane

Bruges can easily be reached through the airports of Brussels, Charleroi (Brussels South) and Lille, so getting to Bruges by plane is by far the easiest way.

Brussels Airport

It’s easy to travel from Brussels Airport to Bruges by train.

Belgium’s main airport has its own railway station. One train an hour goes directly to Bruges. Otherwise up to 4 trains an hour connect the airport to Brussels South station. There you need to change to Ostend or Blankenberge/Knokke (check ‘By train’).

Brussels South Charleroi Airport

The popular regional Brussels South Charleroi Airport receives several low-cost flights daily from various other cities and regions across Europe.

Although you might take a train to Brussels South, we advise a shuttle bus. Flibco.com offers a direct bus to and from the station of Bruges with a frequency of 9 trips a day. Using this service, you will travel more comfortably, it’s cheaper and often also faster. Booking is cheaper online.

Sure you got tired feet of dancing and walking. So you need a good rest in one of the hundred hotels , B&B’s or holiday rentals in the centre of the city.
It will be busy so don’t wait too long to make your reservation. Bookings can be made through the website of Bruges (or www.visitbruges.be)
